InteractiveTV Today & All Offerings

Founded in 1998 by Tracy Swedlow, InteractiveTV Today (ITVT) is the most widely read and trusted source for news and analysis of the interactive/multiplatform television space. Our readership includes tens of thousands of executives, entrepreneurs, technologists, talent, and other industry players in over 150 countries. Our products include an email newsletter called “InteractiveTV Today [itvt]” and a Web site (http://itvt.com). We also produce events. Please see details below:

InteractiveTV Today (ITVT): Available via our Web site (www.itvt.com), our email newsletter, Twitter (#tvotsf, #tvotnyc, @tswedlow, @tvotshow) and Facebook (facebook.com/tracyswedlow or facebook.com/TVOTshow), our news service offers comprehensive coverage of the interactive/advanced TV industry. It also provides advertisers with a unique opportunity to reach a highly targeted and expert readership of advanced-TV professionals. Topics covered by the service include interactive TV programming, TV apps, VR/AR, autonomous vehicles and UI/UX design, industry standards, net neutrality, TV and video commerce, AI and discovery/personalization, VOD, TV Everywhere, OTT TV, Unbundling, Virtual MVPD's, hybrid TV, connected TV, social/participation TV, live social broadcasting, news and social media, multiplatform storytelling, advanced (addressable, dynamic, programmatic, etc.) advertising, branded content, measurement, the changing viewing habits and programming tastes of Millennials and Plurals, showrunners, Big Data, regulation, the role of content in a changing TV world (the emergence of binge-viewing, the question of whether we're experiencing a "content bubble," etc.), and much, much more. To receive the [itvt] newsletter in your inbox, simply enter your email address in the subscription field on the itvt.com home page.

Radio ITVT Podcasts, Video ITVT and Regular Columns: Our audio and video interviews feature in-depth conversations with leading executives, roundtable discussions, and more. They are available through our newsletter, our Web site, Twitter, Facebook, the Apple iTunes Store, and Blog Talk Radio. Like the [itvt] newsletter, they provide advertisers with a highly targeted and expert readership. To receive links to [itvt]'s audio and video interviews in your inbox, simply enter your email address in the subscription field on the itvt.com home page. We carry regular columns, including Rick Howe's "The iTV Doctor Is In!,” Lisa Crawford’s “Run of Show,” and our popular Radio [itvt] “INdustry,” podcasts.

Custom Consulting: Our editorial staff and contributing editors have extensive and highly current expertise in all aspects of the advanced-TV space, in addition to access to what is probably the largest archive of interactive/multiplatform TV-related news, interviews and screenshots in existence. To find out more about [itvt]'s consulting capabilities, email tracyswedlow@gmail.com.

The ITVT Awards for Leadership in Interactive and Multiplatform Television: Presented at The TV of Tomorrow Show, the Awards, which are judged by a panel of high-profile industry experts and which debuted in 2004 at the NCTA National Show in New Orleans, honor industry-shaping companies, organizations and individuals. They recognize interactive/multiplatform TV excellence in nine categories: "Impact, "Newcomer," "Technology, Platform or Product," "Content Offering," "Innovative Design or User Interface," "Individual Leadership I," "Individual Leadership II," "ITV All-Star," and "Achievement in Advanced Advertising."

The TV of Tomorrow Show (SF & NYC): Held every June in San Francisco, and now celebrating its eleventh anniversary, TVOT (tvotshow.com) is the leading global conference for the interactive/multiplatform TV industry. The conference emphasizes candid, dynamic and informative discussions and debates about current topics that excite and concern industry decision makers. It is the only industry event to focus exclusively on the delivery of advanced TV on multiple platforms, and, unlike many other conferences and tradeshows, it selects speakers and panelists for their expertise alone, not because they, or the company they represent, have paid a speaker's fee. To find out more about sponsoring or attending The TV of Tomorrow Show, email tracyswedlow@gmail.com. TVOT NYC is held every December in New York City, this show packs the TV of Tomorrow Show experience into a one-day "Intensive."

tvot^ Hackathons: Hackers are challenged to envision the TV of Tomorrow by conceiving, designing and building TV/video apps and experiences, using technologies, platforms, content and knowledge contributed by a range of participating companies. To date, tvot^ Hackathons have taken place in San Francisco and New York City, and have been supported by such sponsors as Gracenote, DirecTV, National Geographic Channels, Comcast, NBCUniversal, LG Electronics, Samsung Developers, and many others.

TMRW Corp:  We incorporated in 2015 to unify [itvt] and our TVOT events under one umbrella structure.  The URL is http://www.tmrwcorp.com

In the Fall of 2013, InteractiveTV Today incorporated as TMRW Corp. All offerings and services are now under that S-corp.
