Live Streaming Interactive Reality Show Centers on Development of New iPhone App

Italian software company, Command Guru, recently produced an interactive, live streaming, fly-on-the-wall reality TV show, centering on the efforts of an international team of 10 developers, led by Cocoa guru, Aaron Hillegass (author of "Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X"), to develop a free, open source, social networking iPhone application in seven days ("from start-to-publish on the App Store").

Ustream Launches Live, Interactive Celebrity-Driven Reality Series, "Ustream All Access"

Live Internet broadcast service provider, Ustream, contacted [itvt] Monday to let us know that rapper Snoop Dogg will be featured today (Tuesday afternoon, Pacific Time) in the second episode of a new, live, interactive reality series, entitled "Ustream All Access." The series, which is billed as giving online viewers a "live peek into the daily lives of celebrities," premiered December 1st with a live stream featuring Black Eyed Peas frontman, Will.i.am, backstage at the Grammy Awards nominations in Los Angeles. According to Ustream, it garnered over 250,000 viewers.

Israeli Cross-Platform Interactive Reality Show Lets Viewers Control Every Aspect of Contestants' Lives

Dori Media Group, an Israeli TV formats, production and distribution company best known for its telenovelas, announced last week that its interactive cross-platform "control game"/reality show, "uMan" (known in Israel as "Megudalim"), has won three Accolade Awards: an Award of Excellence for reality programming, an Award of Merit for creativity and originality, and an Award of Merit for viewer impact and entertainment value (note: according to Dori Media, the awards recognize "film, television and videography professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity, and those who produce standout ent
