Two Way TV has signed a deal with Flextech Television to provide red-button interactive TV services on digital cable for the latter's Challenge TV and Bravo channels. The new Challenge TV service will feature a number of pay-per-play games, including "TV Scrabble," "Family Fortunes" and "Jellyset," as well as two fixed-odds games channels, dubbed "Challenge Jackpot" and "Casino Casino Roulette," which will run alongside the BAFTA-nominated Challenge TV program, "The Player Zone." The games channels were developed in collaboration with Two Way TV partner, Israeli ITV games provider, Zone4Play. Both channels will have an interactive services menu, which will allow viewers to access information on games and prizes, as well as leaderboards and winner tables. The Challenge TV ITV service will also include a walled garden service dubbed "Mobile Zone for Challenge TV," where cable subscribers will be able to access branded mobile phone games, wallpapers, ringtones and other mobile products and services. The Bravo digital cable ITV service will launch later this year, and will also feature pay-per-play and fixed-odds games and a Bravo-branded Mobile Zone. "One of our key focuses is to capitalize on the committed audience we have built for our casino entertainment programming by developing interactive revenue streams," Jason George, Flextech's controller for interactive programming, said in a prepared statement. "Red-button gaming is an important part of that strategy."
