Slovenian interactive TV technology provider, BeeSmart , said Monday that it has successfully deployed its interactive TV middleware platform with Post and Telecommunications of Kosovo (PTK). The IPTV deployment sees BeeSmart providing the telco with an initial set of 25,000 end-user licenses, as well as with consulting and system design services.

Slovenian interactive TV technology provider, BeeSmart , has released a free, basic IPTV middleware solution, dubbed BeeSmart Lite. The middleware and its accompanying documentation can be downloaded here .

According to BeeSmart, the middleware is intended for commercial use, supports "all basic functionalities," including live TV, an EPG and VOD, and provides a "time-unlimited" license for 500 end-users.
