Mirada Powers Interactive TV Advertising for Sky Italia

Mirada , the Anglo-Spanish interactive TV company that was formed via the merger of YooMedia and Fresh IT (note: for extensive background on the merger, see the article published on itvt.com, January 15th, 2008), announced Monday that it is partnering with News Corp.-owned pay-TV provider, Sky Italia , to deliver interactive TV advertising on the latter's OpenTV middleware-powered platform.

Mirada, the Anglo-Spanish interactive media company that was formed via the merger of YooMedia and Fresh IT (for extensive background on the merger, see [itvt] Issue 7.87 Part 3), has launched a product, called "Virtual Dealer Roulette," which it says is capable of being broadcast on TV and streamed online, and played simultaneously across multiple platforms. Mirada Launches Interactive TV Noughts and Crosses (Tic Tac Toe)

recently contacted [itvt] to let us know that it has launched an
interactive TV version of its online noughts and crosses ("tic tac toe" in
US parlance) game. According to the company, the game is played
"scratchcard" style on its ITV platform: players select their mode to
win on X's, O's or both, and also select a stake; they then purchase a
card and watch its symbols revealed; and, if three symbols in a row
