NBC boasts that it's the first TV network to launch an app dedicated to its evening newscast. Its app for NBC Nightly news with Brian Williams , which launched Monday on Google 's Android Market, lets viewers watch various segments from each night's show, in addition to the entire broadcast. It also lets users browse story headlines and read a daily blog written by Williams.
