Last fall, video software provider, Synamedia, and program guide, metadata management and data broadcasting company, Triveni Digital, announced a partnership to facilitate broadcasters’, content providers’ and service providers’ transition to the new ATSC 3.0 standard—a transition that will require that ATSC 3.0 solutions support simultaneous broadcasts of both ATSC 3.0 and ATSC 1.0 signals.
