New iTV Doctor Column Features Interview with First-Ever Digital VOD Customer

--Karl Willard Was First Subscriber to Full Service Network (FSN) Back in 1994

[itvt] has just published the first in a new series of columns, collectively entitled PERSPECTIVE, from the iTV Doctor, Rick Howe. The series will discuss Full Service Network (FSN), QUBE, Video Jukebox, Sega Channel and other ground-breaking interactive TV efforts, and the impact those deployments still have on interactive television today.

This week's column features an interview (conducted by Tammy Snook, FSN's former VP of communications, and now CEO of HighTech PR) with Karl Willard, the first subscriber to FSN (and thus the first-ever customer of a digital VOD service), who shares his thoughts on that service, and on the current state and future of interactive TV and VOD.

(Note: The [itvt] editorial team is on the road and will be publishing on a reduced schedule for the next 10 days or so. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience to our readers.)
