Audi Launches UK's First Video Ad Campaign on Connected TVs

 

Audi kicked off a video advertising campaign for its A7 Sportback through connected TVs in the United Kingdom. 

The ad campaign, which marks the first time an advertiser will run video ads on connected TVs in the UK –features pre-roll ads running on connected TVs from Samsung and LG. Key players in ad campaign include ad agency Mediacom, online video advertising sales network smartclip, and cloud-based connected TV platform woomi.

In February, woomi parent Miniweb struck an international advertising sales agreement with smartclip. With Audi spending ad dollars to reach viewers through connected TVs, look for other major advertisers to follow with similar media buys. 

The Audi ad campaign is scheduled to run through July 8. In addition to pre-roll ads, woomi will host an Audi Channel on its connected TV platform.  More
