TVOT 2011 - Breakaway Video Contest

[itvt] and our media relations partner, Breakaway Communications, are pleased to announce the BREAKAWAY VIDEO CONTEST.

The contest invites TVOT 2011 attendees--and anyone else interested in participating--to create a short video clip interpreting/answering the question: "What Is Interactive TV?"

All you need to do is provide us with a video clip--no longer than one minute--that expresses your views on interactive TV. We're looking for you to "breakaway" and show us your unique viewpoint and creativity. High production values are not necessarily key to winning: (low-res and webcam videos are perfectly acceptable): simply "wow" us with your creativity. Entries will be judged on how effectively they express the concept of interactive TV. While entries do not need to be "interactive" in the literal sense, bonus points will be added to those that exemplify true interactive approaches. Otherwise, basic linear videos are absolutely accepted and encouraged. The deadline for submissions is May 6th.

A panel of industry luminaries will select the most creative and thought-provoking videos as finalists, and these videos will be screened during TVOT 2011. The Grand Prize winner--who will be awarded an iPad 2, two tickets to TVOT 2011, and a full-blown public relations campaign--will be announced during the show on May 18th.
