--LOVEFiLM Lands Disney VOD Movie Agreement


  • BBC is using its Red Button interactive TV platform to enhance its coverage of the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton. After Friday's wedding, BBC viewers will be able to watch highlights from the event for up to one week by pressing the Red Button.   • Walt Disney Co. struck a deal to sell movies online through LOVEFiLM , which is known as Europe's Netflix. The agreement to sell Disney titles through Lovefilm's transactional VOD and subscription VOD packages marks the first time that Disney is selling movies in Europe outside the pay TV window.
