Yahoo Launches IntoNow iPad App

Six months after Yahoo acquired social TV startup IntoNow, the company launched a new IntoNow app for Apple's iPad. The app relies on automatic content recognition (ACR) technology to identify programs a viewer is watching, and lets the viewer share and recommend TV shows and movies to friends on Twitter or Facebook. IntoNow faces increased competition in the social TV space from Miso, GetGlue, and other companies.
