Capablue Develops Karaoke Superstar App for Connected TVs

-- UK Developer to Release Companion App for Mobile Phones

London-baed video-on-demand content and applications developer Capablue built an interactive karaoke app for connected TVs. The company's Karaoke Superstar app lets viewers choose from a playlist of more than 2,0000  karaoke videos from the Mr. Entertainer Karaoke Collection, which is owned by Digitop Ltc

Capablue said it has integrated the app with PayPal, which will allow users to purchase music for a limited time or download content for unlimited access.

Available initially through connected TVs from Samsung, Capablue said it will soon release a companion app for mobile phones which will allow users to "sing into their phone and hear their voice played back through the TV mixed with the backing track." Users will also be able to record their performances in the companion app and upload them for sharing with other Karaoke Superstar fans.
