Interview: GM of Advanced Advertising, Paul Woidke, on Nagra-OpenTV's New Deal with Time Warner Cable Media

Earlier this week (see the article published on, March 5th), Kudelski Group-owned content-protection and multiscreen-TV solutions provider, Nagra-OpenTV, announced that it has extended its advanced advertising partnership with Time Warner Cable Media, the advertising sales arm of the US's second-largest cable MSO.

According to Nagra-OpenTV, the partnership sees Time Warner Cable Media selecting the company's campaign-management platform, EclipsePlus/xG Billing, as well as renewing an existing deal for its advanced advertising products. Nagra-OpenTV bills EclipsePlus/xG Billing as enabling operator sales teams to "combine data from multiple order management and traffic systems into individual invoices based on each ad's metrics and pricing and for any type of ad campaign--including linear, on-demand, interactive, addressable, Web, mobile, satellite, over-the-top and long-form."

In this recorded episode of [itvt]'s talk radio show, "Radio [i]tvt," Nagra-OpenTV's SVP and general manager of advanced advertising, Paul Woidke, discusses the deal with Time Warner Cable, the capabilities of the EclipsePlus/xG Billing platform, and Nagra-OpenTV's view of the advanced advertising space in general.
