Talk Back to Television welcomes our friend, Scott Levine, newly appointed CEO of TouchTunes, the #1 digital jukebox in the world. If you are in a club or a bar or a restaurant, you are no longer feeding quarters to the jukebox; you are using your phone to select, prioritize and play your favorite songs. And, for the record, that system has an interesting advertising and cross-promotional capability for hard-to-reach consumers for subscription television products. Most of us know Scott from his long stints at Brightcove and Univision, but only a select few remember Scott at Blockbuster and AOL (in the Time Warner days) where he managed teams for the launch of In2TV, the first broadband network to show free TV shows via broadband. In2TV is credited with the invention of Binge TV.
