Time Warner Cable Launches Remote DVR Manager in San Diego, Desert Cities

Time Warner Cable said Monday that it has launched its Remote DVR Manager service in its San Diego and Desert Cities markets. According to the company, the service allows customers to schedule and manage recordings remotely from any Internet-connected computer or browser-enabled mobile device. Time Warner Cable Developing iPad Application

In a posting on its corporate blog by its digital communications director, Jeff Simmermon, Time Warner Cable announced Tuesday that it is developing an iPad application that will serve as an EPG and a remote control/DVR scheduler, and eventually as a platform for social/interactive TV, personalization features, and "TV Everywhere" services.
