ITVT/TVOT is pleased to present a new episode of “Televisionation,” our video/audio podcast exploring the advanced/interactive-TV industry in the Coronavirus/Covid-19 Era and beyond. This episode, in two parts, features Bonnie Comley and Stewart F. Lane, Co-Founders and Co-CEOs of BroadwayHD, a niche SVOD service devoted to theatrical productions. In the first part, Comley and Lane discuss their backgrounds, BroadwayHD’s distribution footprint (the service is currently in over 170 countries on multiple streaming platforms), how they launched the service and developed it over the past 7 years, the types of content the service offers, how they ensure the service is discoverable by consumers, and more. In the second part, they discuss the importance of BroadwayHD to the theater community, as well as outline their plans to enhance the service’s features, content and technology infrastructure going forward.
