This episode features Stephanie Fried, CMO of Fandom, a company which enables fans of all kinds of media to create their own communities, and which has thus become a major generator of first-party data on audience and consumer behavior (Fandom markets this data under the brand, FanDNA). According to the company, its platform receives 300 million visits per month, and has generated 250,000 fan communities and 45 million pages of content.
