Rob takes us into Sinclair’s “Media for Equity” plan where Sinclair gets an equity stake in a selected company in exchange for running media schedules and marketing campaigns—essentially betting on Sinclair’s ability to grow that company’s business. Rob also describes how they make it easier for brands and agencies to buy Sinclair’s entire Converged Media catalog of traditional local broadcast in over 185 owned and operated television stations in 86 markets, plus The Tennis Channel, Multicast Networks like Comet and CHARGE!, as well as NewsON (Sinclair’s aggregator of news content from their local broadcast stations), plus the newest entry, Pickleball TV (a new network from The Tennis Channel).
