In a special “Santa” edition of Talk Back to Television, Jon Giegengack, Principal at Hub Entertainment Research, discusses the “Christmas Present” that streamers are (somewhat inadvertently) giving their subscribers: older library shows that are certainly not ‘new” to the platform, but feel new (or at least comfortable) to viewers. Those “new” shows may be keeping about two-thirds of viewers on the platforms!
