ITVT is pleased to present another episode of “Televisionation,” our new video/audio podcast exploring how the advanced/interactive-TV industry is responding to the Covid-19/Coronavirus crisis. This episode features Chris Pizzurro, VP, Global Sales and Marketing at cable industry-owned VOD advertising specialist Canoe, who is himself recovering from a (thankfully relatively mild) bout of Covid-19. Among other things, Pizzurro describes how Canoe is partnering with NBCUniversal, Disney and ViacomCBS to provide free VOD advertising for Coronavirus PSAs; shares his thoughts on how advertisers and broadcasters are meeting the challenges posed by the Covid-19 epidemic; and casts light on new pilot projects that Canoe will shortly be launching.
