The Friday Fireside welcomes Dave Madden, Chief Business Officer of Playcast.io, the first User-Generated Cloud Game Platform. After 20 years at Wildtangent and Electronic Arts, Dave and his partner Alex St. John are creating networks of gamers who join a peer-to-peer network to lower the cost of both distributing and subscribing to steaming games. The tech is WAY beyond the Good Doctor’s scope, but the economics are solid: consumers are paying for great bandwidth, but they are not using all of it all of the time.
