Televisionation: Jane Clarke, CEO/MD of the Coalition for Innovative Media Measurement (CIMM)

March 29, 2020

ITVT is pleased to present another episode of “Televisionation,” our new video/audio podcast exploring how the advanced/interactive-TV industry is responding to the Covid-19 crisis. This episode features Jane Clarke, CEO and Managing Director of CIMM, an organization that was founded in 2009 by television content providers, media agencies and advertisers to promote innovation in audience measurement for TV and cross-platform media. Among other things, Clarke explains why accurate cross-platform measurement and high-quality, granular data are more important than ever for advertisers and other TV stakeholders as they address the challenges presented by the Covid-19 crisis; reveals that one surprising effect of the crisis is that it is actually making TV data more granular than before; describes how brands and agencies are adapting their campaign strategies in light of the crisis; and shares updates on new initiatives and innovations from CIMM and its industry partners. (Note: If you would like to share your thoughts on how the Covid-19 crisis will change the TV and advertising industries, and tell us what your company—or you yourself—are doing to prepare for this new reality, please contact us at
