Talk Back to Television welcomes Tyler Scruggs, VP of Product Strategy at Continuum Media. Continuum just announced that they achieved a 30% increase in impressions for their media clients in 2024. But we also discuss the bone-chilling (isn’t there a pill for that?) potential ban on pharma advertising. While ostensibly First Amendment-protected, broadcast organizations looking for Federal approval (Hello, Paramount) might be forced to limit or eliminate pharma advertising to “make a deal” with the Trump Administration. And that’s going to leave media organizations scrambling to replace billions in advertising revenue ($5.3 billion in 2024).
