ITVT is pleased to present another episode of “Televisionation,” our new video/audio podcast exploring the advanced/interactive-TV industry in the Coronavirus Era. This episode features Adriana Waterston, SVP of Insights and Strategy at Horowitz Research, a company that has been at the forefront of gathering and analyzing data on how the Coronavirus/Covid-19 pandemic has been impacting television viewing, Internet usage and other areas. Among other things, Waterston discusses how the pandemic is increasing viewership of television, including live TV; how it is altering household dynamics; how it is having both a positive and a negative impact on pay-TV and broadband subscriptions; and how and why it is impacting minority and working-class communities especially harshly and what the implications of this are.
