Televisionation: Realeyes’ Max Kalehoff on Using Facial Coding to Understand Video Viewing

May 18, 2020

ITVT is pleased to present another episode of “Televisionation,” our new video/audio podcast exploring the advanced/interactive-TV industry in the Coronavirus/Covid-19 Era. This episode features Max Kalehoff, VP of Marketing and Growth at Realeyes, a company that uses emotion AI and facial coding to measure consumers’ response to and engagement with video content. Among other things, he defines emotion AI and facial coding and explains how they work, describes the kinds of insights and data these technologies make possible, and the kinds of market problems they can solve, and provides some recent examples of how Realeyes’ tech is being used to determine the efficacy of ad campaigns. (Note: If you would like to share your thoughts on how the Coronavirus/Covid-19 crisis will change the TV and advertising industries, and tell us what your company—or you yourself—are doing to prepare for this new reality, please contact us at tracyswedlow@gmail.com.)
