Televisionation: Syncbak CEO, Jack Perry, on His New “Live, Local and Free” OTT Service, VUit

ITVT/TVOT is pleased to present a new episode of “Televisionation,” our video/audio podcast exploring the advanced/interactive-TV industry in the Coronavirus/Covid-19 Era and beyond.
Earlier this year, OTT delivery company, Syncbak, teamed with local broadcasting company, Gray Television, to launch VUit, a free, ad-supported TV service, focused on live, local content. In this wide-ranging interview, which took place just after VUit announced a partnership with the Washington Post to bring the latter’s content to its platform, Syncbak CEO, Jack Perry, discusses that partnership, VUit’s goal of becoming the “Netflix of Live, Local and Free,” and more.
